Go
Surround territory on a compact 9×9 board.
How to play Go
Black starts on a 9×9 board. Connected stones share horizontal or vertical liberties: adjacent empty intersections. Remove opposing groups when their last liberty is filled. Suicide is forbidden, and a stone move may not repeat any earlier board position (positional superko). Passing is always legal.
Two consecutive passes open scoring review. Mark entire dead groups by tapping them; remove them from the area count. Score equals live stones plus empty intersections enclosed only by that color. Shared empty regions are neutral. White receives 6.5 points. Both local players must agree; use Resume play to settle disputed groups. Computer scoring is reviewed and accepted by you.
